All About the MRC

The MRC was founded in 1937 and today has a membership of around 55, 20 of whom actively take part in time trials, road and track racing.

Affiliations.   We are affiliated to the West London Combine, the West London Cycling Association, the Cycling Tourists' Club, the Cycling Time Trials, Sustrans and British Cycling.

Middlesex Mutters, our club magazine, is published four times a year.  Links to some of the articles that have appeared in Mutters can be found on the Mutters+ page.

Membership fees are GBP15.00 for full seniors or GBP7.50 for second claim and all other members (runs January to end of December).  We're always interested in new members; if, after exploring the site, you feel that we might be what you're looking for in a club, get in touch or print out a Membership Form (opens in a new window) and send it off to the Club Secretary with your membership fee.

We run at least two Open Events every year and between April and September we run Club Evening 10s on either the HCC227 at Blackpark (near Iver), the H10/10 at Fifield or the H10/2 at Knowl Hill (near Maidenhead), links to results and the timetable of events is here.
If you fancy trying a 10 mile timetrial you can enter the Club Evening 10s on the line.

Once the Evening 10s are out of the way Evening Club Nights are held, in a pub, every couple of weeks to discuss life, the universe and, occasionally, bikes.  Dates and venues are here.

Every year a group of us travel across to France, with our bikes, to see a couple of stages of the Tour de France and drink French wine.
